Flower Small bowl

A small bowl with multiple uses it can even serve as a drinking cup for tea and coffee. It can be combined with the large and small rectangular serving platter to hold some sauce or dip.

Imprinting doilies on clay has become one of my trademarks. I love the repetitive motif that creates a mandala-like outcome. It all started when I inherited lots of doilies from my beloved Grandma. How beautiful is lace to look at, but how impractical to have it hanging around the house.
By putting doilies on clay they take a new form. A practical object gets beautifully decorated with them. A marriage of old and new adds a stylish touch to every house.

The ceramics are dishwasher safe, but not microwave oven safe.

The clay used is white earthenware. The bowl has been slab built by hand. Coloured underglaze was been used for its decoration, it has been glassed and fired at 1060c degrees.

As they are handmade objects size and colour might have some slight variations. Items are made to order. Shipping time varies between 10 - 14 days.
